Kuwaiti driver Dhari Al-Dhafiri celebrates on the podium.

DOHA, Sept 28(KUNA): Kuwaiti driver Dhari Al-Dhafiri, representing Kuwait’s Inspire Club, captured third place in the Class 2 category and seventh overall in the fourth round of the Qatar Cross-Country Rally Championship, which drew competitors from across the globe.

After the race, Al-Dhafiri expressed his happiness with the result and praised the strong backing he received from Inspire Club for Cars and Motorcycles. He also thanked the Al-Dhafiri Rally Team for their efforts in preparing his car and providing continuous training throughout the event.

Al-Dhafiri emphasized his readiness, together with his co-driver Khalid Al-Dhafiri, for such long and demanding championships, considering this podium finish a significant step forward in his motorsport career.

The Qatar Cross-Country Rally Championship features six rounds, having kicked off on February 15 and running until December 6, with international entries from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Senegal, Ireland, Lithuania, the UK, France, and San Marino.
