Al-Baz, Bu-Rabie and Al-Wahib crowned aquabike champions

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: The first round of Kuwait Aquabike Championship 2022 (Resilience and Endurance) culminated in honoring Mohammad Al-Baz, Faisal Bu-Rabie and Ahmad Al-Wahib as champions of the three tiers of the tourney. Al-Baz led the professionals’ seated category, followed by Fahad Al-Rais, and Amer Einati in the second and third positions, respectively.

Bu-Rabie claimed the title of beginners’ seated category, followed by Mohammad Al-Rujeib and Youssef Al-Arouj in the second and third positions, respectively. In the juniors standing tier, Al-Wahib led the race, followed by Fahad Al- Ya’quib and Nasser Al-Rajib.

The championship, organized by Kuwait sea sport club, gathered 22 racers at the Green Island beach. It showed a high level of performance and fierce competition by the racers, head of the aquabike races committee Hussein Dashti told reporters at the medal ceremony. He thanked the Public Authority for Sport, the sponsors and the Ministry of Information for their great support and the contribution to the success of the event. (KUNA)
