Al-Arabi welcomes Tunisian star Ayman to first team

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: Al-Arabi Sports Club has officially announced the addition of Tunisian professional Ayman from CS Sfaxien to its first team, as posted on the club’s official website.Ayman, who predominantly plays on the right wing, brings a wealth of experience, having represented prominent clubs such as Etoile du Sahel, Stade Tunisien, and Egypt’s Modern Future.

At 27 years old, Ayman achieved the title of top scorer in the Tunisian League for the 2020-2021 season. He recently played for the Egyptian club Modern Future after departing from Tunisia.The Tunisian talent is set to replace Senegalese player Mamadou Thiam in the “Green” lineup. Additionally, the club is expected to announce another professional signing to fill the void left by Algerian player Sofiane Bouchard, who departed for personal reasons.

Currently, Al-Arabi boasts players like Nigerian Anayo Iweala, Moroccans Hamza Khaba, and Walid Sebbar. The team is actively searching for a defender to replace Bouchard. The technical and administrative staff is thoroughly reviewing CVs to strengthen the squad before the resumption of local competitions.

Following a brief rest granted by Bosnian coach Darko Nestorovic after the conclusion of the Zain Premier League’s fourteenth round, Al-Arabi resumed training. The team is gearing up to face Sulaibikhat on January 26 in the preliminary round of the Emir Cup competition. Additionally, a friendly match against a local team is on the horizon, providing a valuable opportunity for the “Green” players to showcase their skills, even as some key players are absent due to their involvement with the first and Olympic teams.
