KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: Abdullah Al-Anzi, current Al-Qadsia volleyball player, has urged his former club, Al-Arabi, to settle outstanding payments owed to him from his time with the club’s volleyball team.

Al-Anzi revealed that he has repeatedly approached Al-Arabi’s management regarding his contractual dues. While the officials consistently gave verbal assurances, no payment has been made to date.

“For the past six months, I have been claiming what is rightfully mine. I spoke with club officials multiple times, and although they promise to pay, nothing has been implemented,” he said.

He stressed that, as a player—often seen as the most vulnerable party—he should not suffer because of the club’s financial difficulties. “I have dues from my previous contract that must be honored,” Al-Anzi added.

Al-Anzi also noted that he holds a formal contract with the club and has documented conversations with officials confirming their promises. He emphasized that he only seeks his legal rights and nothing more.

He appealed to Al-Arabi’s management to resolve the matter promptly and provide him with his rightful dues to avoid legal action, while affirming his respect for the club and its officials. “But patience has its limits,” he concluded.
