KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Kuwaiti Special Olympics Player Families Council held its inaugural meeting at the Al-Tommoh Sports Club headquarters, where Siddiqa Al-Ansari was elected as Chairman, Dr. Ali Al-Dashti as Vice-President, and Ali Dashti, Nour Bassam, Maryam Al-Kandari, Zainab Al-Maili, Taqwa Al-Najjar, Seema Al-Matrouk, and Fahd Al-Anazi as members.
Al-Ansari expressed her gratitude to the Council members for their trust. She emphasized her commitment, along with the members, to diligently work towards achieving the Council's goals. These goals include strengthening the family's role and its active participation in supporting the players and creating an environment conducive to their continuous success and achievements. Al-Ansari highlighted that the family serves as a true driving force in the lives of Special Olympics players, providing optimal care in all aspects of their lives and supporting them during various competitions and games.
