 KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Kuwait is continuing its positive steps  with indicators of a pandemic situation showing a downward trend. There have been recoveries and zero deaths in the last couple days. 

The current operating capacity is about 10,000 passengers per day with a large percentage of Kuwaiti citizens returning from summer vacation and allowing expats to return the plan has been successful. Airport capacity will be raised very soon. For the Ministry of Health opening of the airport along with getting the economy moving was the main challenge. In the last 4 months Kuwait has seen various commercial activities commenced, reports Al Rai. Dealing with Husseiniyas during the month of Muharram was a another challenge. Vaccination campaign resulted in 80% of the population received one dose and 75% received both doses.

The Health Ministry also gave green signal for schools to reopen. In June exams were conducted for XII grade students. 
Sources stated that the initial evaluation of reopening schools is reassuring and optimistic, by the end of this month after evaluation will be done and accurate information will be made available.
