KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Mohammed Al-Atar, a member of the technical committee for parkour at the Asian Gymnastics Union, actively participated in the inaugural meeting of the committee held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. As an international judge, Al-Atar attended the meeting through video conferencing using Zoom technology. During the meeting, he revealed that the committee had entrusted him with various responsibilities, notably the formulation of a comprehensive training plan for judges across the continent, preparing them for officiating in Asian Parkour championships.

Al-Atar also shared that the committee has scheduled its second meeting for November, during which they will deliberate on proposed strategies for organizing tournaments, referee training programs, and the development of coaching resources. He emphasized that the Asian Union is committed to carefully and strategically advancing the promotion of parkour within the continent.

Furthermore, Al-Atar expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Kuwait Gymnastics Union’s board of directors for their confidence in appointing him as Kuwait’s representative in the Asian Union. He commended their unwavering dedication to providing him with all the necessary support to become one of the pioneering international referees in the realm of Asian Parkour.
