LOS ANGELES, Feb 28, (Agencies): Adele has decided to put a temporary pause on her Las Vegas residency to prioritize her vocal health. In a social media post on Tuesday, the 35-year-old singer shared the unfortunate news, explaining that she had been unwell at the end of her previous performances and throughout her break. Despite not fully recovering, she resumed shows, leading to a relapse and taking a toll on her voice.
Following her doctor's advice, Adele will be taking a break until she receives a clean bill of health. Unfortunately, this means that five upcoming weekends of her residency are affected, including the dates March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30. Adele reassured fans that updates will be provided as soon as they are available.
Expressing her regret, Adele apologized for any inconvenience caused, stating, "I love you, I'll miss you like mad, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience," in the caption of her post. During a recent show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she candidly addressed the audience about her condition, mentioning fatigue, lack of sleep, and chest discomfort affecting her performance.
Fans can anticipate further updates on the rescheduling of the affected dates, and Adele remains hopeful for a swift return to the stage once she has recovered.
