KUWAIT CITY, April 6, (KUNA): The head of cinema sector at Kuwait Artists and Media Syndicate Abdulaziz Al-Sayegh, said Sunday actor Saad Al-Faraj will be the main character of the Kuwait New Film Festival, to be held next May. In a statement, Al-Sayegh said Al-Faraj is one of Kuwait cinema’s pioneers, as his comprehensive career coupled with creativity and exclusivity.
Al-Faraj agreed to participate in the activities of the festival which is considered one of syndicate achievements in Kuwait, Al-Sayegh said. Al-Faraj called for more support to Kuwaiti cinema and the arts industry in general, Al-Sayegh added. Al-Faraj has a cinematic career full of accomplishments in addition to an artistic career rich in achievements engraved in the memory of the Kuwaiti, Gulf and Arab viewers. The Kuwait New Film Festival will be held next May 25-27.
