KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: An official at Kuwait Municipality has stressed that Abu Halifa Park is considered an agricultural property of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), so it cannot be transformed into a residential area as this move contravenes the Council of Ministers’ decision and structural plan, reports Al-Rai daily.He said the issue is completely unacceptable and cannot come to light through the Municipality for several reasons, such as the previous complaints from Ahmadi Governorate indicating the residents rejected the idea.
