One wonders whatever happened to the ‘Pearl of the Gulf’
ABU Dhabi and Dubai are the two best cities to live in among the cities of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and they are also one of the ten best cities in the world, and there are other countries preparing to make their cities among the best in the world, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain, and the question remains: When will Kuwait be among the best countries? It seems we still feel drowsy.
One wonders whatever happened to the ‘Pearl of the Gulf’ and the ‘Paris of the Gulf’. All the privileges that Kuwait enjoyed have vanished in thin air because of the prevailing thought of backwardness which continues to drive us into the unknown. … Yet tomorrow is another day.
