JEDDAH, Dec 23: Abdullah Al-Shaheen, Chairman of the Football Association's Board of Directors, actively participated in the third meeting convened by the Executive Office of the Asian Football Confederation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The President of the Federation and member of the Asian Confederation's Executive Office, Abdullah Al-Shaheen, was also present at the 2023 FIFA summit meeting held in Jeddah. During the summit, Al-Shaheen provided FIFA President Gianni Infantino with updates on the Kuwaiti Federation's 2030 vision. He outlined the concrete steps taken to implement its core pillars and highlighted the Federation's achievements in establishing robust administrative governance.

In response, Infantino expressed FIFA's commitment to providing necessary support for the Kuwaiti Federation in realizing Vision 2030 and advancing Kuwaiti football.

Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation and First Vice President of FIFA, extended congratulations to Saudi Arabia for its remarkable success in hosting the Club World Cup. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia's hosting achievement is a triumph for the entire Asian continent, enhancing the country's standing on the international football stage. Sheikh Salman praised Saudi Arabia's advanced infrastructure, organizational expertise, and capable human resources, positioning the nation as an attractive host for international football events.
