Hamed Al-Hazeem stands in the middle of the winners

KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The Kuwait Sports for All Federation concluded the beach sports village event at Marina Crescent, marking the final activity of the sports villages series held under the auspices of the Public Sports Authority since its launch in December last year.

Hamid Al-Hazeem, Deputy Director General of the General Sports Authority for the Sports for All sector, stated in a press release that the Authority supports sporting events and community sports, encouraging all segments of society to engage in physical activities for a healthy lifestyle.

Al-Hazeem highlighted that the sports villages' activities were distributed across various governorates, with each location hosting events for two weeks, scheduled at the end of each week.

The sports villages featured numerous activities catering to all segments of society, including men, women of various age groups, and people with special needs. Special areas were designated for women to ensure privacy.

Dr. Meshal Ramadan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Sports for All Federation, noted that the beach sports village event was held from May 30 to June 1 and again from June 6 to 8. Ramadan mentioned that the beach sports village activities included beach soccer, beach volleyball, electronic games, and CrossFit.

He emphasized that the activities organized by the Kuwait Sports for All Federation are entirely non-profit, aiming to create a healthy society that actively participates in sports to prevent chronic diseases associated with obesity and related health issues.

Ramadan added that the Federation's primary goals are to raise awareness about the importance of sports in improving quality of life, encourage regular physical activity, promote a culture of sports in Kuwaiti society, train national sports cadres, and provide an ideal environment for sports activities.
