Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Disabled delegation.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: Nasser Al-Ajmi, the Vice President of the Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Disabled, expressed immense pride in the Kuwaiti national team's remarkable success at the Sharjah International Forum and the 15th Fazza International Athletics Championships for the Disabled in the Emirates. The team secured an impressive total of 24 medals, consisting of 7 gold, 10 silver, and 7 bronze.

Leading the Kuwaiti delegation in these championships, Al-Ajmi lauded the exceptional efforts of disabled athletes across various categories, highlighting their prowess and dedication. He emphasized that this achievement solidifies the superiority of these athletes in their respective fields.

Al-Ajmi also revealed that the participation led to the qualification of two players, Faisal Sorour in shot put and Faisal Al Rajhi in wheelchair running (800 meters and 1500 meters), for the upcoming World Athletics Championships for the Disabled in Japan.

Under the leadership of Shafi Al-Hajri and the council members, Al-Ajmi affirmed the club's commitment to continuing its support for players in diverse sports. The aim is to attain further successes in upcoming international competitions. He dedicated this significant accomplishment, coinciding with national holidays, to the esteemed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the people of Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti disabled sports family.
