KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: An Asian expatriate was arrested for sneaking into the house of a Kuwaiti family in Salwa for a nighttime rendezvous with the housemaid, reports Al-Anba daily. Securitymen rushed to the house in Salwa after receiving a cell from a Kuwaiti citizen who had informed them that he heard giggles coming from his housemaid’s room. Securitymen found the intruder hiding in a wardrobe. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities in preparation for his deportation.

17 sheep stolen: Police are looking for unidentifi ed burglars for breaking into a livestock pen in Sulaibiya and stealing 17 sheep, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fi ngerprints to identify the culprits.

Brothers held for stealing: The Taima police have arrested two bedoun brothers for stealing a metal fence belonging to an oil company and referred them to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. Police records show the thieves were wanted by law in connection with three thefts.
