KUWAIT, May 6: The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Wednesday, that 7 commercial stores were issued notice for violating commercial stores that did not abide by the laws and decisions laid by the ministry in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.


MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 204 cooperative societies, supermarkets, commercial stores and vegetable shops to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices.


The inspection teams monitored 67 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, noting that its emergency center had received 88 complaints via the 135 hotline and 16 complaints through the control centers, while 205 ration cards were renewed and issued (KUNA)
