KUWAIT CITY, Aug 7: As part of ongoing security campaigns against residency and labor law violators, Assistant Undersecretary for Special Security Affairs Major General Abdullah Safah led an operation yesterday afternoon in Hawalli, Sulaibiya Industrial Area, and Kabd. This campaign resulted in the arrest of 68 expatriates of various nationalities who were in violation of residency laws and were wanted by authorities.

A security source reported that the campaign began in Hawalli, where checkpoints were established at entrances and exits for an hour and a half. This initial operation led to the arrest of 19 expatriates in violation of residency and labor laws. The security team then proceeded to the Sulaibiya Industrial Area, where they apprehended 20 violators and wanted expatriates involved in absconding cases. The final phase of the campaign took place in Kabd, where checkpoints were set up, and the camel market was raided, resulting in the arrest of 29 expatriates, some of whom had absconding cases and were wanted by authorities.

A security source confirmed that these campaigns against residency and labor law violators will continue uninterrupted until the issue of loose labor and violators is completely eradicated.
