676 new infections; 630 recover from coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 676 new cases of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) infections recordedin past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 108,268 cases, while four deaths were recorded bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 632.

Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the infections as per the health zones, with 158 cases in the Ahmadi Health District, 140 cases in the Hawalli Health District, 131 cases in the Jahra Health District, 130 cases in the Farwaniya Health District, and 117 cases in the Capital District Health.

The number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 139 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7,457 cases.

He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 3583, bringing the total to 764608.

Earlier Ministry of Health announced that 630 infected had recovered in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 100,179 cases.
