5th Horse Racing Meet of Farwaniya kicks off

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Fifth Horse Racing Meet of the Farwaniya Equestrian Club will kick-off Tuesday at late Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah racetrack with the participation of 60 horses in their various breeds and categories. Round five of the 2,000 meters race for Group 3 is the most important race in which nine horses will be competing.

Tuesday’s event will witness the first round of 2,000 meters race for Group 4 with the participation of 12 horses, and the second round of 1,600 meters for Group 3 will see the participation of 18 horses, while the 3rd round of 1,200 meters for Group 4 involves 16 horses and five horses during round four of the 1,200 meters race for Group 3.

In a comment, Bader Al-Daihani from Al-Uwaid Stables affirmed that the event will witness strong competition among the horses and it’s difficult to predict the winners since all participating horses are exceptional.
