KUWAIT, March 23 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia and the UAE announced Monday new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, mirroring the current global struggle against the menacing disease.
Health authorities in Saudi Arabia revealed that the country had 51 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 562.
On the positive side, the number of recoveries reached 19 with one new case announced.
Fellow GCC state the UAE said that the number of new coronavirus cases jumped by 45, bring the total to 198.
Health authorities said that the number of recoveries amounted to 41 cases with three new patients clearing the treatment phase.
