In preparation for the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, a joint awareness media campaign has been launched under the slogan “With our determination, we achieve our dream.”
This campaign is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information, and the Government Communication Center.
The relevant sectors of the Ministry of Interior have completed all preparations to ensure the safety and security of students and road users. These measures include deploying patrols on both main and secondary roads to manage traffic flow and deal with traffic congestion, particularly around schools and their access routes. The ministry will also take necessary legal actions against violators of traffic rules and laws. The Ministry of Education explained that the main goal of the campaign is to mentally prepare and motivate students for the new academic year.
It aims to highlight the role of teachers, recognize their contributions, and reinforce the importance of discipline and adherence to laws and regulations both inside and outside the school. This approach is intended to enhance academic achievement and advance the educational process. The ministry emphasized the need to continually refine the media message to align with the nation’s goals and aspirations of fostering a well-educated and aware generation capable of facing future challenges. The Ministry of Education also commended the efforts of the ministries and supporting organizations that contributed to the launch of the media campaign “With our determination, we achieve our dream.”
The ministry highlighted the great impact of the campaign, which resulted from collaborative meetings with representatives from the participating entities to determine its direction. The ministry affirmed that the campaign’s cognitive content effectively supports practical achievement, creativity, and security culture. It praised the use of various media platforms as the best way to deliver awareness and guidance messages to both parents and students. Meanwhile, the Government Communication Center highlighted the importance of collaborating with relevant authorities to launch the campaign. This stems from the need to convey positive messages that boost enthusiasm among students and support the achievement of academic goals at each educational stage.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Information affirmed its keenness to deliver awareness and educational messages to students and parents through various media outlets and social media platforms. The goal is to enrich security and traffic culture, promote patriotism, foster loyalty, and reinforce national identity. Also, the Ministry of Interior will organize awareness seminars in schools to enhance security and traffic awareness among students. These seminars will provide necessary guidance to ensure students’ safety and adherence to traffic regulations. These seminars will focus on how to respond to emergencies and avoid potential risks both inside and outside the school. The ministry aims to reinforce public safety principles and strengthen the partnership between students and security agencies to ensure a safe educational environment.
The campaign will run throughout the academic year, targeting male and female students, parents, and teachers. It will include organizing awareness seminars, distributing informational materials, and implementing training programs. Media and social media platforms will be utilized to spread awareness messages. It highlighted the importance of community involvement and its role in supporting national efforts. In addition, Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain), Kuwait National Cinema Company, and M2R Media Group have supported the awareness media campaign titled “With Our Determination We Achieve Our Dream.” Their contributions involve spreading awareness and guidance messages that promote discipline and adherence to laws both inside and outside the schools.
