5 Men and a woman arrested operating liquor factory from a two storey villa

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 23: The Ministry of Interior stated that its patrol team of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate raided a liquor factory run by 6 people (5 men and a woman) in the Abu Al-Hasaniyah area.

 A patrol team of Abu Fatira police station were on duty in the Abu Al-Hasaniya area they saw a bus driving in urully manner and upon requesting its driver to stop he left the vehicle and fled. Upon opening the vehicle door, black bags were found packed containing alcohol. The suspect was followed and it was found that he had entered a house in the same area. 

After taking legal measures, the raid was carried out, and it became clear that he was a liquor factory where large barrels full of liquor, bottles containing alcohol which was ready for sale, and 6 people (five men and a woman) running the factory were found.

The liquor was confiscated and the accused were transferred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against them.

A security source suggested that the Undersecretary of the Public Security Sector, Major General Faraj Al-Zoubi, would issue a recommendation to the Undersecretary of the Ministry to deport the expatriates and black list their names so that they will not enter the country again.
