46 health centers to operate during the New Year holiday

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: The Ministry of Health has released the operational hours for primary health care centers and the blood bank during the upcoming 2024 New Year holiday. According to an official statement, blood donation services at the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya and the Cooperative Center for Blood Transfusion in the Adan area will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Platelet donation at the Central Blood Bank will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For health centers, the Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim Centers in the Sulaibikhat area, the Mirza Al-Ihqaqi Centers in Daiya, the Hamad Al-Saqr Specialist Centers in Adailiya, and the Jaber Al-Ahmad Health Centers 2 of the Capital Health District will operate 24/7 during the holiday. The Munira Al-Ayyar Centers in Kaifan and Abdullah Youssef Al-Abdul Hadi in Yarmouk will be open from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight.

In the Hawalli Health District, the Rumaithiya Specialist Center, Sabah Al-Salem Specialist Center, Al-Salmiya Al-Gharbiyya, and Salwa Centers will operate 24 hours a day. The Hawalli Al-Gharbiyya Center and Mahmoud Haider Center in Jabriya will operate from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight.

In the Farwaniya health district, the centers of Al-Fardous South, Farwaniya West, Andalusia, Al-Rabieh, Abdullah Al-Mubarak, and Manahi Al-Osaimi will work around the clock. The centers of Al-Ardiya South, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh South, and Sabah Al-Nasser health centers will operate from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight.

In the Al-Ahmadi Health District, the centers of Al-Sabahiya Al-Gharbi, Sabah Al-Ahmad Health A, Al-Khiran Health “Chalets,” Al-Khiran Residential, Al-Wafra Residential, Abdulaziz Al-Rashed in Bnaider, Al-Wafra Agricultural Health Centre, Ali Sabah Al-Salem, Al-Raqqa, Jaber Al-Ali, Al-Fahaheel, Al-Fintas, Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine City Center, and Khairan Al-Bahri will operate 24 hours a day.

For the Mubarak Al Kabeer Health District, Al Adan Specialized Centers, Al Salam Centers, and Mubarak Al Hasawi Centers in Hattin will operate 24 hours a day, while the Bayan Centers and Mubarak Al Kabeer Al Gharbi Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight.

In the Jahra Health District, the Jahra, Saad Al-Abdullah Block 2, Al-Qasr, and Abdali centers will operate 24 hours a day. The Southern Sulaibiya Center will operate from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight, and the Kabd Health Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
