41 boys caught driving without license

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: The traffic campaigns launched by the Traffic and Operations Sector of the Ministry of Interior in all governorates of Kuwait from Dec 12 to 18 resulted in the issuance of 22,142 direct miscellaneous traffic offenses which included using mobile phones while driving, recklessness on the roads, while security and safety requirements were among the most prominent violations, reports Al-Anba daily.

Many vehicles were impounded by the Traffic Dept during the campaign

On the sidelines of these campaigns, 69 violators were arrested for committing serious violations and 41 juveniles were seized for driving without licenses. During the campaigns, 23 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded and towed to the ministry garage, and 12 persons wanted by law were arrested and handed over to the judiciary and the investigation authorities
