KUWAIT CITY, April 4: More than 400 Kuwaiti lawyers will soon be appointed in Fatwa and Legislation Department, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources.
They indicated that the department submitted a list with names of those appointed in the “lawyer” position to Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh for approval.
The sources revealed that the appointments are expected to be approved next week after the minister returns from his overseas trip. They stressed that the department appointed those who passed the tests, explaining that the reasons for the high number of new recruits are no lawyers were appointed in the last six years, implementation of the Kuwaitization policy, and the need to fill the shortages caused by the employees who are expected to retire following the introduction of the early retirement law
