KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The Jahra Security Directorate’s support patrols arrested 25 residency law violators in the industrial area and Mutlaa, who have since been referred to the deportation prison.
Authorities established several security checkpoints in the industrial area, Al-Mutlaa, and other worker-populated sites, where they conducted document checks. Some of the individuals were found working in garages under Article 20 (domestic workers), while others were employed in the contracting and construction sector in Al-Mutlaa City, despite their residencies having expired nearly a decade ago.
The violators were fingerprinted, and reports were filed against them before they were sent to the deportation prison. They are now set to be deported and permanently banned from re-entering Kuwait.
