KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Officers from General Department for Weapons Collection launched a campaign in Failaka Island during which they arrested 14 Kuwaiti citizens in possession of a total of 25 hunting rifles known locally as ‘Shozen’.

According to security sources, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Abdulhameed Al-Awadi formed a security team after receiving information about a group of people hunting in Failaka Island. The team launched a sudden campaign in the island and arrested the suspects who were referred with the confiscated hunting rifles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
