KUWAIT CITY, March 16: Three Asian expatriates were arrested in Mangaf area in possession of 24 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to a security source, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mangaf area at night when they stopped a vehicle with three occupants based on suspicions and checked their details to discover they are Asian expatriates. Securitymen checked the vehicle to find 24 bottles of locally manufactured liquor in the trunk of the vehicle.

The suspects were arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in possession of drugs in Ahmadi Governorate. He was referred with the drugs to the Directorate General for Drugs Control for necessary legal action against him. In the meantime, two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in Kabad area in possession of two imported liquor bottles.

One of them is wanted by law for his involvement in a finance case. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling Kabad area when they stopped a vehicle based on suspicions and checked the details of the two occupants to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens and one of them is wanted by law for his involvement in a fi nance case. Securitymen checked the vehicle to fi nd two bottles of imported liquor.

  1. What does it mean by the word “Asian”? Why not specify the real country instead? For example ” they are Kuwaiti citizens and one of them is wanted by law for his involvement in a finance case. Security men checked the vehicle to and found two bottles of imported liquor.” In other news I noticed an Egyptian man mentioned. I’d like to ask why not “African”? Some say this is absolutely unfair. So I hope the authority will consider this very carefully. Thank you.
