KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: Police have arrested an unidentified young man for beating and stabbing two youths – a Kuwaiti and a bedoun, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said this happened when the two young men had gone on a picnic in Salmi and were involved in an argument over an unidentified issue following which the suspect went to his car, grabbed a knife, stabbed the two victims and escaped leaving them in a pool of blood.
Following the incident, several people called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and the injured were taken to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital. Intensive police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect.
Meanwhile, an Arab man was injured after he fell from a building under construction in the Ahmadi Governorate, reports Al- Anba daily. Without going into details the daily said personnel from the Emergency Medical Services rushed the man to the Adan Hospital. The incident is being investigated.
