KUWAIT CITY, July 20: Two Africans who attempted to pump counterfeit dollars into the local market have been arrested and handed over the Criminal Investigation Department, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspects were arrested after receiving a tip-off from a police agent and the suspects were subsequently picked up from their apartment in Hawalli. The daily added, armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution the apartment was raided and the suspects were caught red-handed in possession of a quantity of counterfeit dollars, equipment and special dyes used in counterfeiting currency.
