WASHINGTON, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces conducted 17 strikes against the so-called Islamic State -- eight in Iraq and nine in Syria, the Combined Joint Task Force announced on Tuesday.In Syria, the strikes hit near Abu Kamal, Al Hawl, Dayr Az Zawr and Manbij, the announcement said.In Iraq, the strikes took place near Bayji, Haditha, Kisik, Mosul and Sinjar, the statement said.
