17 Expats Arrested in Illegal Alcohol Production Cases

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: The Ministry of Interior achieved significant breakthroughs. Through continuous daily efforts and intensified search and investigation operations across the country, they arrested a total of 17 expats from various nationalities in 7 separate cases related to the manufacturing and promotion of locally distilled alcohol.

During these operations, a clandestine local liquor production facility was discovered and subsequently seized. The facility contained distillation equipment, labels for imported beverages, cartons, and containers filled with alcoholic materials. Authorities also confiscated approximately 226 bottles of locally produced liquor and 13 buckets containing alcoholic substances.

All of the individuals involved in these illicit activities, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate the necessary legal actions against them.
