Hiring and sheltering residence violators is a crime
KUWAIT CITY, Sep 16: Security campaign launched by the Jahara Security Directorate resulted in arresting 150 residence violators, from these 70 were residence violators including absconders.
80 were arrested in the Rahiya Al Bariya area at camel fodder market. Those arrested were having cases filed on them by their sponsors for fleeing away. Some of them were residence violators, many of them were working for some other sponsors during the arrest. Most of those arrested are Asians and Arabs.
Those arrested were referred to the police station to take their statement and who sheltered them. Legal action will be taken against those who hired them and sheltered them. They will be imprisoned followed by deportation and will be barred from entering Kuwait
