RIYADH, March 22 (KUNA) — The number of newly discovered coronavirus (COVID-19) cases reached 119, bringing the total number to 511, Saudi Arabia announced Sunday.
A statement by the Health Ministry said that two cases of the coronavirus recovered, bringing the total number to 18.
Authorities in Saudi urged citizens to avoid gatherings whether at their homes or public places in the efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

Bahraini Ministry of Health announced Sunday the second death of a registered case of coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the deceased female — a 51-year-old Bahraini national who was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems — had returned from Iran via the International COVID-19 Repatriation Program (ICRP) earlier this month.

The individual, upon arrival in Bahrain, was placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialized medical team.
The Ministry highlighted that, excluding three cases, all other active COVID-19 cases remain stable and that all patients are receiving treatment from a specialized medical team following guidelines provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). (pickup previous
