KUWAIT, May 6: Kuwait Municipality announced today, Wednesday, that the supervisory agencies in the governorates are raising unlicensed depot that are built on state property and used to collect donations during the holy month of Ramadan.
The spokesman of the Kuwait Municipality, Mohammed Al-Mutairi, said in a press statement that the supervisory teams in the governorates are raising the facilities after the end of the legal period for the posters that were placed in accordance with resolution (190 of 2008) Article (11) that prohibits placing any facility in public squares and squares or on sidewalks.
He stated that the municipal emergency team in the capital governorate, in cooperation with the public cleanliness and road works department in the governorate, raised four facilities and referred them to the municipality reservation site.
The emergency team in the governorate (Mubarak Al-Kabeer) in cooperation with the public cleanliness and works department in the governorate raised eight facilities and referred them to the municipality reservation site.
And that the General Cleaning and Road Works Department in Jahra Governorate has raised seven facilities, while the General Cleaning and Road Works Department in Al-Ahmadi Governorate has raised 40 unlicensed facilities and referred them to the municipality reservation site.
He added that the General Cleaning and Road Works Department in Hawalli Governorate has raised 7 facilities and referred them to the municipality reservation site, while the Farwaniya Governorate branch has raised 52 facilities.
He called on everyone not to establish any unlicensed facility on state property, pointing out that the supervisory teams in the governorates will remove them, as well as controlling their owner, violating it and referring it to the competent authorities. (KUNA) -
