RIYADH, April 23 (KUNA) – Saudi Arabia announced today, Thursday, the death toll from infection with the virus (Corona Novel – Covid 19) to 121, increasing the total number of cases to 13930 cases.
The Ministry of Health spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, said in the daily briefing that seven new deaths were recorded due to Corona, taking the number of deaths to 121.
He added that the total number of injuries rose to 13930 cases after the registration of 1158 new confirmed cases (Al-Mustaj Corona – Covid 19).
He explained that the number of recovery cases increased to 1925 cases, as 113 new cases were registered, indicating that there are 93 cases receiving focused medical attention.
The Bahraini Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, the death of an eighth death as a result of infection with the virus (Corona emerging – Covid 19).
The ministry said on its website that the deceased was a 36-year-old migrant suffering from chronic diseases, adding that in return, 71 new cases of the virus were recorded in the past 24 hours.
She added that 48 cases of new injuries are for immigrants, 16 cases for contacts and seven cases coming from abroad, stressing that the total number of injuries reached 1008 cases.
She explained that the number of recovery cases rose to 1082 after 56 patients recovered after receiving care under the supervision of specialized medical staff.
The UAE reported on Thursday four coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths within the last 24 hours, putting the total at 56.
The Emirati authorities announced that 518 cases of infection and thus the total reached 8,756.

The Sultanate of Oman announced, Thursday, the discovery of 102 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections to 1,716.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the number of cases recovering from the coronavirus was at 307.
A number of eight individuals died due to COVID-19.
Qatar announced today, Thursday, that it had registered 623 new cases of the new virus (Corona – Covid 19), while medical tests confirmed 61 cases of recovery.
The Qatar Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that this brings the total number of injuries to 7,764 cases, explaining that most of the new cases recorded are for migrant workers, the majority of whom have been subjected to quarantine precaution after it was found that they are in contact with confirmed cases.
The ministry added that the rest of the new infected cases belong to citizens and residents who had had contact with HIV-infected family members.
She explained that the new infected cases were introduced to complete health isolation to receive the necessary medical care.
It revealed 61 cases of recovery today, bringing the total number of new cases of corona virus emerging in Qatar to 750 cases, while no deaths were recorded in the virus.
