KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: The General Traffic Department, represented by the Highways Department, conducted a series of intensive campaigns on the Seventh Ring Road and other major highways from Wednesday, August 13, to Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to track down traffic law violators and wanted individuals.
The week-long campaign recorded the following results:
- 3,239 traffic violations issued
- 2 vehicles impounded for serious violations
- 3 cases referred to the Traffic Investigation Department
- 56 wanted vehicles seized
- 3 wanted persons apprehended
- 115 violators of Residence and Labor Laws arrested
- 12 juveniles caught driving without a driving license
- 36 individuals referred to police stations for lacking identification documents
The General Traffic Department reiterated its commitment to maintaining security and order on the roads, stressing that such campaigns will continue to enhance traffic discipline, safeguard lives and property, and ensure the smooth flow of vehicles across the country.
