KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has received approximately 1,100 complaints in 2018 until date concerning real-estate fraud, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting knowledgeable sources.
The daily added the ministry has initiated legal action and referred the companies to the Public Prosecution. The daily learned the ministry intends to refer two new companies to the Prosecution against which more than 100 complaints have been filed so far by the real-estate buyers.
Meanwhile, it is said the ministry is noting down the names of directors of suspect companies and names of the partners before blacklisting these companies.
