1,020 Traffic violations in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh within 2 hours

KUWAIT CITY, May 19:  The Ministry of Interior launched traffic campaign by cordoning exit points in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh resulting in issuing of 1,020 violations within 2 hours ranging from expiration of driving license, vehicle ownership, car window tinting, needless honking, changing the appearance of the vehicle and non-compliance with safety and condition of vehicles.

During the traffic campaign 10 expats were arrested whose residence had expired several years ago, some of them were having arrest warrants who were referred to deportation.
