10 deaths; 812 more infected in Kuwait from cronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 10 deaths and 812 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 740 and the infected cases to 120,232, health ministry data showed.
According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 8,052; 122 of whom in intensive care units.
Al-Sanad added that 7,853swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 865,560 so far.
Meanwhile, some 726 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 111,440, the ministry said.
