KUWAIT CITY, May 24: Excitement and jubilance dominated the seventh day of the 39th edition of the Late Abdullah Mishari Al-Roudhan Football Tournament (Futsal), during which three matches were played.Two of these matches witnessed sharing of equal points between Zone Cent and National Guard, as well as Jordan’s Hamada and KIB, while the Late Musa’ad Al-Mailem’s Team bagged three points after defeating Masami Sushi. In the first match, Zone Cent and the National Guard scored two goals in each other’s nets.The goals for Zone Cent were scored by Yousef Al-Awdhat and Abdul-Aziz Al-Shiha, and that of the National Guard were scored by Abdul-Rahman Al-Thuweini. With such results, Zone Cent has increased its points to two, whereas the National Guard has one point after losing in the first match of the tournament.The second match of the day witnessed the same scenario as Jordan’s Hamada and its opponent KIB shared game points when the match ended with two goals for each team. Hamada’s goals were scored by Abdul-Rahman Dughaishen and Muayed Al-Roumi, whereas the goals for KIB were scored by Hamad Hayyat and Manuel Kareem.However, in the third match, the Late Musa’ad Al-Mailem Team recovered the points they lost in the first match as it defeated Masami Sushi by three goals to one. The goals were scored by Italy’s Adriano, Saudi’s Ehab Al-Saad and Brazilian Viva, while the consolation goal for Masami Sushi was scored by Brazilian Douglas. With these results, Al-Mailem and Masami Sushi shared three equal points. The second round of the group stages continues today with Mondial Hisham Fulath facing Just Clean.The winner in this match will go through the knockout round of the tournament. Other matches scheduled for today are between Marty Fahad Al Ahmed and Dar Al-Mohamadia teams, and between Refrigeration Industries and West Gulf Real Estate Company In the amateur category, Kuwait United defeated Lijnads Academy by three goals to nothing, whereas the Late Ahmad Hussein Al-Roumi Team trounced Kuwaiti Stars by five clean goals.Fahaheel Team pulled a difficult win against Pharaohs Today’s matches will be between Al-Ahli Academy and Young Stars, Faisal Al-Mutairi Team will battle it out with Seden Academy, and Atom Sporting will face Kuwait’s Goal Scorer
