Zboun Al-Harad wins 1,200m race; Hala Hamoudi triumphs – Al-Qadem Ajmal takes first round of 1,800m race

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: The horse Zboun Al-Harad from the Al-Mullah Stable ridden by the Bahraini jockey Ali Al-Saffar won the 4th round of the 2nd class race for 1,200 meters covering the distance in 1.14.8 minutes. The horse won Joint Group Contracting Company trophy.

The Le’oyoun Baby from the Assayel Stable of Ahmadi ridden by jockey Salim won the second place, Al-Jawad Al-Ghoush from Dai’eya Stable ridden by jockey Wahabi took the third position.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Joint Group Contracting Company Major-General Emad Al-Houti presented the trophy to the dean of the Al-Mulla Stable’s.

Hala Hamoudi from Dai’eya Stable won the Cup for the Beginners’ Race (1,000 meters) covering the distance in 1.05 minutes; Nareen from Al-Rejeiba Stable ridden by jockey Asseel came second and Al-Abtah for Khalid Al-Utaibi ridden by jockey Ra’afat came third.

The member of the supreme committee of the race Tareq Al-Nisf gave the cup to the Dean of De’eya Stable Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salman.

Horse Al-Qadem Ajmal won the first round of the 1,800 meters race in 1.58 minutes; Bahes from Zamanan Stable ridden by jockey Salem won the second round specified for Arabian horses (1,600 meters) in 1.58 minutes. The horse Zuwain from Nashama Stable ridden by jockey Ubai came in the third place.

The horse Al-Qawi Khair Ayef from Nayef Al-Dabbous Stable ridden by Morgan won the first place in the third round Class 4 (1,600 meters) in 1.43.6 minutes; Al-Murtajez for Muhammad Abdullah ridden by Mansour came second and the third position was taken by the Godfather of Kuwaiti Equestrian Sport Sheikh Ali Al-Homoud who was happy to enforce the new system for horse racing and wished more advancement to the sport to restore its former glory.
