KUWAIT CITY, July 13: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested the twenty-year-old accused of killing an Indian who worked as a delivery driver for a telephone company. During interrogation the suspect said after the phone was delivered to the house, he refused to pay the money for the phone and demanded that the man hand over his motorbike and when the victim refused and held on to his bike, the suspect allegedly hit him on the head with a hard object.

According to a security source after committing the crime in Abu Futaira in front of his house, the suspect escaped and investigations led police to his hideout in a suburb of Andalus. The source stated during initial interrogation, the suspect admitted to hitting the victim on the head. The security sources say the alleged killer has a history of such precedents – refusing to pay money after delivery of goods to his residence. He allegedly meets the delivery person outside the house after grabbing the requested order, he escapes on foot and that three such cases were filed against him earlier and the last case ended with the murder of the delivery man. The suspect, who is found to be a drug addict, has been referred to the competent authorities for legal action against him.
