KUWAIT CITY, April 24: Police have arrested five young people — three bedoun and two Kuwaiti women — and referred them to the Criminal Investigation Department, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to security sources, the suspects were picked up between the Sixth and Seventh Ring Roads at a police checkpoint.

They were arrested on suspicion because the windscreen and side glasses of the car were damaged and there were bloodstains on the seat of the car, reportedly from the stab wound sustained by a bedoun. Police investigations revealed they were involved in a fight with another group of ‘people’ and that one of the bedoun and one Kuwaiti woman were wanted by law in financial case.
