You can renew your Civil ID 3 months prior to its expiry

I am going to India for my delivery which will be in November along with my daughter; so we would go next month and planning to come back after six months may be on February last week. Our Civil IDs are expiring next year Jan. 6; so can we renew them at the earliest that is within this month?
