‘Workers rights violated’

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: Kuwait Human Rights Society revealed about a company that has been violating the rights of its employees, and urged the concerned state authorities to help these employees, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to a press statement issued by the society, the company is one among the leading companies in Kuwait but it has been violating the rights of its employees.

The society appealed to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah to intervene in this matter and assist in improving the situation of these workers, especially since he had issued a decision to offer amnesty to violators of residency law to rectify their legal status before February 22. The society affirmed its readiness to offer legal support to expatriate workers in Kuwait, declaring that they can call the hotline number 22215150 if they are seeking legal consultation and support.
