Woman abuses ‘police on duty’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: A Kuwaiti woman verbally abused an officer in the course of his duty in Hawalli area. The woman allegedly insulted the officer for issuing a traffic citation against her. She is said to have threatened the officer, saying her uncle is an Interior Ministry Major General while another one is a Colonel.

The officer lodged a complaint against the woman for verbally abusing a policeman on duty and the vehicle was seized. A case was registered.

Meanwhile, an elderly woman filed a complaint against another lady who called her on mobile and threatened to kidnap the granddaughter. The elderly woman told security operatives that she doesn’t know the caller who issued the threat, and she doesn’t know her motive.
