LIE … lie … and repeatedly lie until people believe you. This is an old adage that returned lately and found its way to front page news amid a campaign of lies and falsification against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the case of the disappearance of Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi.

In this campaign, the charlatans pretend to have forgotten the history of the Kingdom and the biography of its kings; from the founding ruler – King Abdulaziz until the reign of the current ruler – King Salman. They never, even a single day, used as a tool the assassinations, enforced disappearances and kidnappings.

In most stages where the opponents of the Kingdom’s politics emerged, its security apparatuses and institutions never resorted to such methods which are contrary to basic human values.

Some Saudis paid by parties whose objectives against their country are known went crazy in several stations and channels. Some of them have political programs in the radio stations of certain countries. Despite all that, the Kingdom neither kidnapped nor killed them as claimed by the group with well-known orientations and goals.

Today, in the ocean of an unjust campaign, some are talking about Nasser Al-Saeed. He was extradited by the Kingdom through a ruling. The Kingdom never attempted to kill him even though he lived in Beirut at a time it was the theater of civil war and severe security chaos. This is why when lies are abundant; one must look attentively at the distinct white thread from the black thread, so as not to fall into sin especially if they are among those who believe in the Quranic verse: “Surely suspicion in some cases is a sin.”

Unfortunately, a country like Turkey has turned into a playground of big lies moved around by the Muslim Brotherhood. The group is heavily paid by known sources that are nurturing it and have control over a large number of satellite channels and mass media in several languages, in addition to using its huge investments in Turkey. Therefore, the group turned the disappearance of Khashoggi, a Saudi national, into a non-Turkish issue. Perhaps, the ruling Justice and Development Party no longer cares about internal affairs the way it focuses on controversial files of Arab countries especially Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

The Turkish leadership, headed by Erdogan, did not scrutinize and contemplate well that this storm they are starting will lead to severance of ties between Riyadh and Ankara; exactly like the case with Canada which interfered blatantly in Saudi affairs such that it had to be stopped.

The Muslim Brotherhood aims to portray the disappearance of Khashoggi as if he is the founder of Utopia or as if he is Thomas Edison, neglecting the fact that they used to accuse him of betrayal. Tens of Saudi citizens have been exposed to troubles, attacks and killings in many countries over the last two decades but the Muslim Brotherhood remained silent. Today, the Muslim Brotherhood changed all of a sudden as it is now keen on defending humanitarian issues although it transplanted terrorism, hijacking and killing.

Khashoggi contacted senior officials at the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul including the Saudi ambassador and he planned to return to Saudi Arabia. This information is confirmed by Saudi Ambassador to Washington Prince Khalid Bin Salman, stating that Khashoggi has justified concerns about returning home. However, he was wrong in this regard since many of the opposition figures who attacked Saudi Arabia more than Khashoggi returned to Saudi Arabia after realizing that they were wrong and they now live in their homeland safely. These opposition figures include Dr Kassab Al-Utaibi who is now living a normal life and active on social media freely.

It is also true that a number of princes opposed the Saud Dynasty and left Saudi Arabia due to personal interests. Saudi Arabia secured their return through diplomatic channels. Here they are living a normal life; away from killing, torture or hiding abroad although they can be more attractive targets for the enemies of Saudi Arabia than Khashoggi who is being depicted as the carrier of the secrets of Saudi Arabia.

Actually, the noise from hitting empty pots by the Muslim Brotherhood has not crossed the borders of the Arab world, especially the countries controlled by this organization in addition to a few European countries motivated by personal favor.

Thus, we can say a Saudi citizen disappeared in Turkey. Then, why don’t we wait for completion of investigations, instead of focusing on the Indian film scenarios filling up the media outlet of the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters. This ignorant behavior is the fruit of the hatred which controls the Muslim Brotherhood, making them believe the issue will spark World War III the same way World War I kicked off as a reaction to the assassination of the Austrian archduke.

They blamed the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. They even blamed Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

All these targets are quite known and the scorers are known as well. The issue will continue in its natural size; represented in the noise produced by social media and mainstream media crowds, especially when the whole truth is revealed and the main targets of such badly plotted game are unmasked. This game raises a question on who is benefiting from trading the disappearance of Khashoggi.

Aren’t those trading in the issue more blameworthy, especially after knowing that Khashoggi seriously thought of returning to Saudi Arabia and then they too got worried that he would reveal the secrets of their conspiracies?
