KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Bedoun, in his 20s, for involvement in a financial case and possession of an undisclosed quantity of shabu. While on duty in the area, the securitymen got suspicious when they noticed the unusual behavior of the Bedoun so they approached him for routine inspection.
The officers found out the Bedoun is wanted by law for involvement in a financial case. The officers also searched the Bedoun and this led to the discovery of an undisclosed quantity of shabu in his possession, in addition to a lamp and drug paraphernalia. A case was registered and the Bedoun was referred to the Drug Control General Department along with the confiscated items.
Meanwhile, officers filed a complaint against two young women who allegedly insulted them while they were on duty early morning in Salmiya.
In their complaint, the officers narrated that they stopped the two young women for routine inspection as they appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. It turned out that the young women came from a flat where they attended a party. When the officers asked them to go inside the police vehicle, the young women blurted out expletives and insulted the officers. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing
