Vital to instill social values in youth: official

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: Assistant Undersecretary for Development Affairs at the State Ministry for Youth Affairs Meshal Al-Subai’e affirmed the keenness of the ministry to support youths in a manner that will contribute to highlighting their creativity in various aspects. He stressed the importance of instilling social values particularly patriotism in the youth, and benefiting from youthful energy in various fields.

In a statement issued during a conference to announce the celebration of International Volunteer Day, he described the day as a very important occasion for those involved in volunteering work in the international level, affirming that organizations from the government and private sectors and various committees involved in the volunteering work celebrate this day worldwide.

Al-Subai’e praised the participation of Ooredoo Telecommunication Company, as part of the company’s social responsibility duties, for its strategy to give youths a bigger share of its social programs throughout the year.
